Where to even begin with this amazing couples wedding day. Lately I've been feeling like every wedding I shoot is my favorite and this one is no different. Bridget reached out back in January after her original photographer fell through. Luckily I was available and so excited to work with her and Charlie. After emailing back and forth I could tell immediately that their wedding was going to be SO much fun. She is an ECU alum just like me and now is a nurse!
Their wedding day to say the least was a HOT one. So we tried to stay in the shade as much as possible during all portraits. Luckily the venue had plenty! Fearrington Village was the cutest little community and had so much life going on there. My second shooter, Eric, even said he wanted to bring his wife for a little get away.
When we got to the brides room all of the girls were getting their hair and make up done and they were all smiles as they chatted away. Bridget was just as bright and kind as I thought she would be. You could tell she was just so ready so marry Charlie. Before the ceremony we did a first look with Bridgets dad and brothers and it was such a sweet moment.
Now is the part where a few happy tears were shed. As Bridget walked down the aisle Charlie shed just a couple, very manly, loving tears watching his bride walk down to him. Even if there were no vows spoken their love would have shown brighter than the sun was that day. Along with all of the sweet looks, giggles, and love in their ceremony their was also a special time for Charlie's grandfather to speak during the ceremony. It was such a sentimental moment as his wife had passed away just days prior to their wedding day. There were many emotions shown throughout the ceremony but the one that shown the most was love. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Bridget pinky promised her husband to always be there. I LOVED it.
The rest of the day was filled with smiles, dancing, a sunset session with the bride and groom, and delicious food (they had multiple buffets of different types of food. YUM.) The first dance was romantic and then at the end Bridget wanted to point out her husbands new bling haha. Once all of the traditional wedding events were done it was time to party! There were many ECU alum there so I knew it was going to be a fun night. We ended with a beautiful sparkler exit from the the Fearrington Village barn. Check out my favorite images from their wedding day!
