Hey everyone! It has been a WHILE. Im finally getting back into my blogging after battling nausea from pregnancy, 2 back to back stomach bugs, and catching up on editing along with staying home full time with an almost 2 year old! It has been crazy! BUT I am so excited to share Jonathan and Megan’s White Lake, NC wedding with you guys. When I first met the couple we met at an Andys to grab a bite and just get to know one another and talk about their vision for their day. I could tell right away how in love they were and how much fun they were going to be to work with.
The morning of their wedding day it was very calm and intimate as just Megan and her step mom went to get their hair done together. It was full of laughter, excitement, and eagerness to get down that isle and say I DO.
The wedding took place on a rental property in White Lake that they owned and managed. In the property was the perfect spot right on a sandy beach to set up a ceremony and reception. It was so beautiful. Megan did so much of her own decorations including the gorgeous center pieces. They were bouquets made of stock paper and pearls she put in each bouquet. She also made her husbands boutonnière out of the same material.
After the hair, makeup, dress, and shoes were all in place it was finally time to walk down the isle. Jonathan was facing away from her as she walked in and did not see her until she came around the corner and stood right in front him. He was blown away at how stunning his bride was. Their personal vows were so sweet and full of love and laughter and they sealed their vows with a kiss.
After the family and wedding party portraits were over we stole the couple away for some time alone. Let me tell you guys that they did not stop smiling and giggling like teenagers the entire time. It was GREAT! We utilized Megan’s unique short dress for some poses and let them show us some of their favorite dance moves on the dock.
The rest of the night was history as they danced the night away under a beautiful lit up tree right on the water. Their day was perfect and magical and I hope you can see that in all of their images below!
