Allie and Will tied the knot back on October 13th, 2018 at the Palo Alto Plantation in Maysville, NC (I know i’m so behind). There were so many favorite parts of their day starting with the first detail item that was brought to me. The brides shoes. The bride didn’t know yet but her soon to be husband had written a small message on the bottom of her shoes. I immediately knew this couple would have the most magical day!
While the bride was getting started with hair/makeup we were getting all of the details taken care of which included her stunning rose gold rings, flowers, reception set up and of course the dress. We headed back up to check on the bride who was just about ready to take some fun pictures with her girls and her fur baby!
She slipped on her dress and her mom and sister help put together the finishing touches before walking downstairs to see her dad for the first time in her dress. I love daughter/daddy moments when they are just gleaming with pride, admiring their child who is about to become a wife.
The next few shots truly show just how much Allie is surrounded by love. Both her husband and her father shed some tears as she is walking towards her future. It was such a touching moments I won’t forget.
Will and Allie said their vows under an arch covered with stunning flowers and surrounded by their closest friends and family. And then headed to take wedding party pictures which are always so much fun! I absolutely love the colors Allie chose for her bridesmaids along with the gorgeous flowers. Then of course my favorite part… bride and groom sunset portraits. They took a few with their sweet pup and then headed off, just the two of them. The sunset was stunning and was giving me all the sun flares! I was loving it!
The boogied into the reception right after sunset for their first dances. Dinner, toasts, cake, and dancing followed outside in the gorgeous weather that evening. Then they headed off with a sparkler exit to start their marriage journey. It was such a beautiful day! Check out my favorites from their day!
